Horn antennas are flexible, dependable, and have a high gain and straightforward construction. They may, however, be heavy, have a small beamwidth, and be prone to interference. Applications for horn antenna include radar, microwave communications, satellite communications, radio astronomy, electronic warfare, and medical imaging, to name just a few.
